The boundless, mysterious, and largely unexplored void that is known as Space has fascinated human beings for thousands of years. From The Big Bang to the possibility of life on Europa (a moon of Jupiter), what we learn about our universe helps us understand our place within it. For this activity, students study multiple space related topics and create an interactive fan to showcase their learning.

Using the Internet and/or books, the students research Space related topics (The Big Bang, Galaxies, Stars, Planets, Comet, Meteor, Space Shuttle, Astronaut, Moon Landing, and Satellite) and write 3 interesting facts for each. At the bottom of each page, students research and answer supplemental questions for each topic. On the back page, students are asked to reflect on the most interesting Space topic they studied and why Space is an important topic research.
